The Small Teak Wine Rack takes the same idea as its larger sibling and refines it. Where the medium is raw eroded root, this piece is a dressed teak post — the natural live edge and irregular form preserved, but the overall silhouette more considered. Five forged iron rings are embedded into the teak at intervals, each angled to hold a bottle securely, the whole piece standing on a solid rectangular teak base that gives it stability and a quiet architectural quality. At approximately 100cm tall it is a substantial presence without dominating a room. The warm, aged teak grain and the dark iron rings work together in the way that natural materials and forged metal always do — each making the other look better. Every piece is unique, the individual grain, surface character and precise form shaped by the tree it came from. A wine rack that earns its place in a dining room, kitchen, hallway or living space — and makes opening a bottle feel like a considered occasion. Browse other Teak Furnishings here
