One of the commoner garden butterflies throughout the UK, the Small Tortoiseshell is bright orange and black with a row of blue crescents around the wing edges. Underneath, they ar e camouflaged dark grey and brown. Adults emerge from hibernation on the first warm spring days and look for mates. All pictures are printed on 300 gsm high quality artist paper. Framed prints are mounted, signed by the artist and supplied in an attractive and stylish frame with a smooth white finish. Frames come in two sizes; 8in x 8in or 16in x 16in, with a 28mm (approx. 1in) surround, and fitted with 2mm glass and an MDF backing with hanging bracket.
