It adds new double-sided maps featuring rivers an d water regions, pirates and special events that affect each round, and new strategic elements like harbors, a caravel, and the Temple of the Seer. Players still compete to control territory and score victory points, but must now also navigate the river-themed challenges and dynamic turn-based events.
