These Small Zirdle Bugs are tied on a Moonlit ML411 #10 Barbless Hook with Pine Squirrel zonkers strips. Zirdle bugs are a popular fly pattern that can imitate various aquatic inse cts and critters such as stoneflies, crayfish or a buggy looking trout treat that gets attention with all of its legs. Zirdle bugs are great dead drifted or a slightly twitched motion. Its comes from the Montana area (and is highly popular there) but we have found them to work all over the place.
