Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus globulus) is an evergreen tree or tree-like shrub of the family Myrtaceae. It is native to Tansmania and South East Australia, but is now naturalized and thr iving throughout the world, especially coastal areas with cool, wet winters and hot summers. The young leaves are round, dark green and shiny, but can mature into long spear shapes, up to 12” long. There are over 300 species of Eucalyptus, the globulus species has the most well-documented history of use for immune support, particularly for cold and viruses that affect the respiratory system.
