Regarding Quantum Dots, SmallHD highlights the innovative implementation of Quantum Dot OLED self-emissive display panels, a technology recognized by the 2023 Nobel Prize in nanotechnology. Developed by Samsung Display, Quantum Dot OLEDs channel high-energy light from blue organic LEDs into a layer of printed red and green quantum dots, optimized for maximum light transmission. This process produces a wide range of volumetric color expressions, closely resembling human vision compared to conventional OLED displays. The Quantum 32 comes equipped with PageOS, SmallHD's proprietary monitor operating system, offering essential exposure tools such as EL Zone, Waveform, Vectorscope, and Monitor Calibration Wizard with Calman integration.
