Instructions for Use Installing a Smart Stop is incredibly fast and requires no threading or line cutting: Insert Line: Place your fishing line into the center groove of an open Smart Stop (while it is still on the holder wheel or held in your hand). Snap Shut: Use your fingers or a pair of needle-nose pliers to snap the stop closed over the line. Adjust: Slide the stop to your desired depth.
