SmartMark Body Positioning System Whether being used on clear, prepainted, ABS, fiberglass, aluminum or even steel bodies these neodymium magnets are strong enough to work through 1/2″ plywood. The kit includes 4 markers and top caps with a 4mm hole so sharpie markers or paintpens fit with ease, unlike a few kits on the market that barely fit a mechanical pencil lead and tip. The markers themselves are made with an 8mm bore so they fit 7th and 8th scale body posts, and also included are inserts for 5, 6 and 7mm diameters that simply fit inside the markers for smaller scale posts. The kit comes in a convenient case with a center lid to contain the inserts and uses rare earth magnets that are self centering for the perfect placement every time.
