The SmartTrack rudder features a solid anodized aluminum housing with precise tolerances for smooth, tight steering control. The only downside of the SmartTrack Rudder is that it sticks straight up when not in use, which could be vulnerable to damage in some situations. Unlike other kits, we include the rudder blade and skin on frame specific mounting hardware. Select the large size blade for sailing kayaks and larger kayaks, the regular blade for smaller kayaks or kayaks with lower sterns.
