Vinyl LP pressing. Digitally remastered edition of the quartet's 1991 debut album. Smashing Pumpkins truly came into their own when they embraced shoegaze textures and heart-poundi ng choruses on Siamese Dream and Mellon Collie…, but Gish is a more-than-worthwhile starting point. On Billy Corgan and Co.’s 1991 debut, the band’s unabashed love for Zeppelin shredding and Sabbathian riffing comes through clear as day, but like all great grunge bands, they telegraph those arena influences through a ragged punk veneer. Brimming with youthful ambition and preternatural talent, Gish is a must-have on your shelf. TRACKLIST I Am One Siva Rhinoceros Bury Me Crush Suffer Snail Tristessa Window Paine Daydream Show more
