View the full Fitness Hero Warranty Policy FAQs Is a barbell included? The Smith machine's 500kg-rated solid core bar is built in - that's what the plates load onto from day one. A separate free-weight Olympic barbell for the front rack is sold separately - add one to your order and we'll freight it all together. Do the plates fit the Smith bar?Yes - the 50mm Olympic bore fits the Smith bar sleeves, any Olympic barbell, and plate-loaded machines, so the same 100kg works across your whole setup. Can I drop the weights?Tri grip plates are built for controlled lifting, not overhead drops - and with the guided bar, catches and spotting arms, this station is designed so you never have to bail. If your training includes dropping the bar, look at EPDM bumper plates instead. What flooring should go under it?Rubber gym flooring protects your slab, cuts noise and keeps the station planted - 15mm tiles are the popular pick under racks. Browse gym flooring and add it to the same delivery, or ask our team to spec your space. How much space and ceiling height do I need? The rack takes 200cm x 125cm and stands 220cm tall - it clears a standard 2.4m ceiling, with extra clearance recommended above the chin-up bar. Allow room in front for the bench and plate loading. Can I buy or swap pieces individually?Every component links to its own listing under What's Included.
