A classic Broken Hill specimen of sparkling lustrous translucent white Smithsonite crystals on matt grey stalactitic Coronadite. The Smithsonite forms intergrown rounded forms, eac h several millimetres across, coalesced to form a larger coating measuring 5.5 cm x 2.4 cm overall predominantly on one side of the specimen. This specimen is from the famous Milton Lavers Broken Hill collection and was found at the Proprietary mine, Broken Hill, Australia. Show more
