Scalecoat Sanding Sealer is a high-quality base coat designed to create a smooth, even surface before painting. Ideal for wood model kits, it seals the surface to prevent paint abs orption and uneven finishes. Once dry, it sands easily to a fine, silky texture—providing the perfect foundation for Scalecoat Paint. Apply a thin, even coat and allow to dry completely. Sand lightly with fine-grit sandpaper before applying color coats for the best results. Sanding Sealer can be brush painted or airbrushed. Sanding Sealer Thinner (Part 10572) can be used to thin Sanding Sealer. It is recommended to thin as little as possible, if thinned significantly multiple airbrush coats may be needed.
