Made-to-order gobeläng flat weave rug designed by Barbro Nilsson in 1943. Handwoven in wool on a linen warp, following the artist’s detailed instructions, this rug can be made in a variety of sizes. Each piece is entirely handwoven at our studio in Båstad, Sweden, established in 1919. MATERIALS AND CAREThe rug is woven using wool on a linen warp. Wool is naturally stain-resistant and should not be washed too frequently, as this can strip the natural oils that protect the fibers. To ensure even wear, rotate the rug periodically. Regular vacuuming is beneficial, but avoid vacuuming the braided edges and refrain from using a vacuum with rotating brushes.
