Soon, a dozen or so Frogs appear. You learn that they foretold your arrival by studying a snail shell. Given the opportunity, the Frogs will devour an unwitting snail. The remainin g shell, with its mathematically perfect swirl, is handy for their augury. You are given a shell. Examine its tidy coils, its striations, its delicate chipped edges. Incorporate it into any practice which would benefit from greater insight. Apple snail shells feature beautiful colors (oranges, greens, pastels) and patterns. Your shell measures 1.5-2.5 inches in height. It was sourced in South Florida along the shores of freshwater lakes and canals. The snail was consumed by a local snail-loving bird (such as an ibis, a wren, or a limpkin) and the shell was left behind for a human collector. This ethically-sourced shell was then sanitized before it was included in your Birdmoss Box.
