Plastic buckles break. Everyone knows it, most folks have experienced it, yet no one talks about it and bag makers are always sewing buckles into bags, where they can not easily be replaced. This snap buckle is a great one to throw in your bikepacking repair kit. It can be installed with no sewing, and it works well once installed. You cut the old buckle out (cut the buckle, not the webbing) and slip this one into place. Done. Genius. 2 sizes, fitting 90% of all bike packin bags: ¾” and 1”.
