About Our snapback module is an upgrade to the Nintendo Switch Pro-Controller, and can be only added to one of our custom Pro-Controller you’ve already added to your cart (it can not be ordered as a stand-alone.) Once it’s been added to your order, we will build your new controller with the upgrade. No assembly, soldering or DIY work necessary. What Is A SnapBack Module? This SnapBack upgrade ensures that when the time comes to flick the analogue stick and make a special move, your character won't turn the other way around due to the sheer force of your analogue flicking. It comes pre-installed on any Pro-Controller you choose from our shop AND Includes 1 free adjustment in the first 3 months if needed. Later adjustments may cost the price of shipping only. Please note: This is an add-on and cannot be purchased separately. Orders with this module will take their full processing time, as any regular controller customization. SnapBack Explained SnapBack is a competitive play word for false gameplay movements caused by analogue stick flick rebounds. When playing technique-demanding games like Smash Bros. Melee and Smash Bros. Ultimate, performing perfect/empty pivots, b reversals, and short hop RAR aerials can cause your Pro-Controller’s analogue stick to recoil because of flicking motions. Snapback is physical overshoot that occurs as the joystick rapidly returns to its center, and can cause unintended behaviors such as accidental turnarounds, jumps, etc. Our Snapback module was designed to address this by acting as an electrical low-pass filter that eliminates these unintentional inputs. It requires no reset, and won’t cause drifting.
