One of 17 designs in the NEW Ziggurat book, Åsa Tricosa Ziggurats · Colour & Texture eBook (included with the printed book) with 2 bonus patterns will be published later Snårvinda is not your typical Ziggurat pullover. I wanted to knit a sweater with a colourful classical round yoke but with a rather more tailored shape. The solution is a fun mashup of circular yoke and classic Ziggurat increases – a top-up-down construction. Start with a provisional cast on below the colourwork to upwards. Bind off at the neck. Now knit the provisional stitches top-down – add with slight body shaping and finish with a split ribbed hem. The mid-length sleeve picks up a simple motif from the yoke. Ziggurat mashup: everything is knitted in one go, top-up-down no seaming very few ends to weave in bold and simple stylized garland motif optional bust dart hip-friendly split hem As usual, there's the Helpful Table to keep track of increases.
