Soft, light and beautifully airy, it is one of those yarns that knitters keep coming back to. Snefnug means snowflake in Danish, and the name really suits it. Made from 55% baby alpaca, 35% organic cotton, and 10% extra-fine merino wool, it is constructed as a chainette yarn with a fine cotton tube at its core, into which a blend of baby alpaca and merino is blown. That construction gives it an incredible softness and lightness without losing any strength. It is particularly lovely for baby and children's knitwear, and equally at home in oversized sweaters, cardigans, scarves and hats for adults. It comes in a wonderful range of colours, so there is plenty of room to express your own colour personality.
