The Dog & Field Snipe Dead Bird Dummy is a lifelike gundog training aid designed to bridge the gap between canvas dummy work and real game retrieves. Modelled on a snipe — one of the more challenging game birds to find and handle — it replicates the sight, smell and touch of a real retrieve in a controlled training environment. The dummy features a high-definition photographic canvas print of real snipe feather patterns, a realistic body shape with head, wings and tail, and scent-retentive fabric that absorbs game bag and field scents over time. At 310g it sits in a realistic weight range for a snipe retrieve, giving dogs accurate feedback on pick-up, carry and delivery.
