Product Description "Hug and Thump Sleeping Switch" is a Snoopy plush toy from Takara Tomy's Smile Tech series, officially licensed by Peanuts Worldwide LLC. It's designed to suppo rt babies' sleep routines with a combination of gentle vibration ("thump"), ambient sounds, and melodies. The plush includes an optional heart-rate sensor unit. To use it, press the sensor pad firmly against the baby's skin (such as the arm or palm) while holding the melody switch for about 10 seconds. This one-time reading sets an initial vibration and melody tempo, which then gradually slows over time following a fixed "1/f fluctuation" rhythm pattern. The sensor does not continuously track the baby's heart rate during use, and the toy cannot display or output a numeric heart-rate value. Measurement is entirely optional — the toy works normally, starting with the womb sound and a default vibration tempo, even if this step is skipped. Once a reading has been taken, it cannot be repeated without turning the main switch off and back on. Per the manufacturer, this product is not a medical device.
