There are 4 pieces as part of this series and they are all full of life and exuberance. Inspired by summer blooms, bright fuchsia floral motifs and organic leaf-like shapes dominate the paintings. The work was produced during a very soggy July and while they are bold and bright, the paintings also promote the dewy, lustrous look of flowers fresh out of summer showers.I am obsessed with creating movement and depth through hurried mark making and layer upon layer of beautiful details, which peep through at just the right point in the composition. 50 x 50 cm acrylic and mixed media painting on stretched canvas. The painting comes ready to hang and framed in a satin white canvas floater frame (52.5 x 52.5 cm), however this can be changed to an oak or black frame on request.
