A colorful interpretation of the joy of finding the balance between giving and receiving. Using stones as a metaphor for the many opportunities we face each day to both consume and to replenish, the stack illustrates the necessity of finding balance between the two to maintain harmony and stability. Mixed media on 100% recycled cotton hand-made paper. The paper for the original painting was torn to size by Caroline and features lovely deckled edges. Float mounted on a complementary green mat and set in a solid maple frame. Frame measures approximately 8.5" x 20".
