Two blocks of aged French household soap, each embossed with their original maker's mark — Savon Lesieur on the cube-form block, and Rhenus on the rectangular bar. Both have harden ed and dried over decades into objects that are purely decorative at this point, the amber-toned glycerin surface developing a patina that no modern soap replicates.
