About customizing your box; You are always welcome to leave a note at checkout about strong dislikes or general preferences and we will do our best. However, the available soaps we build the boxes from are pre-selected per week in a bin, so boxes cannot be fully customized across all our store offerings- we select the soaps from what's been placed in the bin that week. Your note helps guide your personal preferences and substitutions when possible, but the box will still remain a curated mix rather than a build‑your‑own bundle in exchange for a significant discount! Ingredients & skin benefits All our soaps are made with our 4.9 star reviewed proven recipe developed by a chef and artist and made in house in New York or South Carolina. Our famously long lasting recipe includes pure olive oil, coconut oil, American sourced tallow and castor seed oil. As always, we use ethical mica powders and natural additives like ground oatmeal, activated charcoal, sea salt or clay. We use pthathlate free fragrance and essential oils in the maximum safe amount, so our bars smell as strong as we can make them. Our soap will never have you feeling tight or dry out of the shower and our scents will stay on your skin long afterwards. Some of the bars, like The Raven, can even pull double duty as a shampoo, face, or beard wash depending on your hair and skin. Substitutions & rare soap note If we sell out of a particular soap, it may be upgraded or switched for a similar bar at the staff’s discretion. This sometimes means you get a rare soap or an experimental batch that is not normally for sale or limited edition batches, which sometimes is a way to get products that aren't even available for purchase in our store, or bars from collections that no one can buy! Quick care tips To stretch your bars even further, let the bars dry completely between use. Store extra bars in a cool, dry, dark place to keep scent strong. Cut bars in half if you want to rotate scents more often or stretch them longer. A soap dish pays for itself by your second bar on average!
