It travels to Grasse, the world capital of perfume, where the alcohol is extracted and given a second life in fine perfumery. Only then is it redistilled in France, in a distillery dating from 1875, in century-old copper pot stills with toasted oak bark.The profile is round and gourmand: toffee, caramel and cocoa, toasted oak, caramelised dried fruits and a hint of vanilla.
