Soda Jerk is a quick, interactive card game where players are trying to influence which soda flavors will be worth points—and which will go negative. Players take turns playing cards face down or revealing them, adding to different “flavor” piles. Matching cards increase a flavor’s value, while mismatched cards reduce it. At the end of the round, each player scores based on the cards they kept in their hand and how those flavors turned out. The twist is that much of the information is hidden. You’re constantly trying to read what other players are doing—are they building up a flavor, or secretly sabotaging it?
