Drawing connecti ons between weaving, fitness routines, and digital self-performance, the work traces how repetitive gestures are shaped and regulated by systems of productivity and control.Parallels between silicon chip etching and historical forms of armour production inform the gauntlet as both artefact and interface: an object that encodes movement data into material form not unlike an artefact. Through processes of silicone casting, sewing, and pattern-cutting, the work translates ephemeral motion into a densely constructed bodily extension. Show more
