It is only through a gradual, lifelong familiarity that I have become aware of a mysterious, inexplicable 'otherness' that exists behind the visual immediacy of being in the bush. Of course, this is inherently understood by our First Nations people as explained to me by one of our local Wiradjuri elders and good family friend.
