Soft Resistance is a hand-constructed sculptural textile that understands softness as a form of protection. Its curved aluminium structure and softly stretched satin surface create a quiet armour, one that shelters while remaining open, responsive and alive. The work connects queer, diasporic identity to material presence: nazar blue becomes a protective atmosphere, a threshold between vulnerability and resilience. Anchored in touch, intuition and embodied decision-making, the piece embraces the analogue, valuing approximation, sensitivity and the subtle shifts of a body in space.
