It's worked from the top down in stockinette stitch with beautiful lace at front and cuffs. The sweater begins with either a provisional or a long tail cast-on at the neckline, which is then folded over for a trendy double-layered look. The neckline is shaped with short rows for a better fit, followed by a beautiful lace pattern at the front. The body is knitted first, then the sleeves. Finally, the neckline is sewn to the inside if you didn't secure it while knitting.
