Softwood Timber is a basic structural timber used for plinth building, painting stretchers, small furniture and structural construction. Softwood is an economic choice, however mor e advanced furniture making, hardwood timber may be required.  This timber is untreated and is therefore unsuitable to be used outside for extended periods of time PLEASE NOTE: Lengths of timber over 2m long can only be sent between campuses on Wednesdays.
