The pine is sustainably sourced from FSC-certified saw mills in North America, and has been kiln-dried to the moisture content of an average household which is a crucial step in the process of creating solid wood indoor furniture. FINISH - FINISH - The pine is sanded to a smooth touch finish, but we make sure to preserve the rustic characteristics each piece has which will include, splits, knots, and unique grain patterns. Each table shelf is hand-oiled with a hardwax oil finish. The application of oil intensifies the grain pattern whilst protecting the pine with a water-resistant finish.
