Lower high soil pH and help your lawn use nutrients more effectively. Soil Acidifier contains 90% elemental sulfur and is designed to gradually correct high-pH soil. When soil pH is too high, grass may have trouble using nutrients already present in the soil, which can lead to weak growth, pale color, and poor lawn performance. Use this product only when a soil test confirms that your pH is above the recommended range for your grass type. Why Choose Soil Acidifier? Lowers High Soil pH: Helps gradually correct alkaline soil conditions. Improves Nutrient Availability: A properly balanced pH helps grass roots access fertilizer and soil nutrients more efficiently. Supports Better Lawn Color: Correcting high pH may help improve yellowing caused by nutrient lockout. 90% Elemental Sulfur: Provides a concentrated sulfur source for long-term soil pH correction. Pelletized Formula: Easy to spread evenly with a fertilizer spreader. Example: If your soil pH is 7.0 and your target pH is 6.0, apply 10–15 lbs per 1,000 sq ft. Do not make more than 3 applications per year. Wait at least 2 months between applications. Apply when the grass is dry. Spread evenly with a fertilizer spreader. Water thoroughly after application. Landscape Beds & Gardens: Apply 10 lbs per 1,000 sq ft for each one-point reduction in soil pH. Apply beneath the plant canopy out to the drip line, then water thoroughly. Important: Elemental sulfur works gradually and will not lower soil pH immediately. Retest your soil before making another application. Do not apply more than the label recommends in an attempt to speed up the process.
