The more you add the chunkier & more free-draining your mix will become. For most indoor plant varieties we recommend a ratio of 1 part Houseplant Hoarders Soil Bulking Mix to 5 parts compost/ potting mix. For plants more prone to overwatering or epiphytic plants we recommend a ratio of 1 part Houseplant Hoarders Soil Bulking Mix to 3 parts compost/ potting mix.
