The Soil-Max Gold Digger Pull-Type Tile Plow installs drainage tile to a maximum depth of 6.5 feet. A single-pin hitch connects the plow to the tractor, and a single-point hydraulic connection supplies the plow's control system. This configuration calls for approximately a 25,000-lb. tractor and 200 HP; actual requirements depend on soil, depth, grade, traction, and any assist tractor used. The Stealth ZD design places the tile outlet directly below the pitch point to limit tile deflection during grade changes. The proportional hydraulic valve makes incremental pitch corrections, while the down-pressure manifold applies pressure to the wing wheels as field conditions change. Gold Digger Pull-Type Features 6.5-Foot Maximum Depth: Provides additional working depth for main and lateral drainage-tile installation. 3- to 10-Inch Tile: Quick-change poly-sided boots and matching shears are available for different tile sizes. Single-Pin Hitch: Connects the pull-type plow to the tractor drawbar. Single-Point Hydraulics: Consolidates the tractor hydraulic connection. Down-Pressure Manifold: Controls pressure on the wing wheels independently of surface variation. Specifications Specification Value Maximum Working Depth 6.5 ft.
