The Solano Jacket is a lightweight outer layer for windy, changeable conditions where a fully waterproof shell would feel excessive. GORE-TEX WINDSTOPPER® fabric protects the body from wind and light moisture, while more breathable stretch panels release heat and improve mobility. A lightweight liner adds comfort without giving the jacket the weight or structure of a conventional insulated softshell. Within the Arc’teryx system, the Solano occupies the space between a windshell and a light weather-resistant jacket: protective enough for exposed walks and cool commutes, but breathable and understated enough for regular use.
