To determine which spacer is required, refer to the mid-clamp width of the rail you are using. Black: Provides a vertical gap of 7/16” and horizontal gap of 3/4” (compatible with IronRidge) Red: Provides a vertical and horizontal gap of 5/8” Yellow: Provides a vertical and horizontal gap of 3/4” HOW MANY SOLAR SPACERS DO I NEED? It depends on your average row length. The recommended is 5-20 units per crew. HOW TO USE Choose the Solar Tools Spacer needed based on the racking you are using. Install the first panel on your bottom row. Insert a Solar Spacer on the inside top and bottom edge of the panel to create the required gap at both ends. (make sure the spacer is flush) Lay your next panel, tighten mid-clamp, and repeat step 2 until your first row is complete. For each row above, simply insert a spacer on the top corner of each panel in the row below and slide your panel into place. Remove spacers as you move along by using the built-in handle.
