Solento Raicilla delivers a rare window into the wild, artisanal world of Jalisco's most celebrated ancestral spirit. Rooted in indigenous tradition and shaped by the rugged Sierra de Jalisco, this raicilla is a testament to slow craft and untamed terroir.Produced using time-honored methods largely unchanged for generations, Solento Raicilla is made with wood-fired stills and native fermentation practices that preserve the authentic character of this Jalisco agave spirit. Where tequila follows strict modern protocols, raicilla embraces the irregular and the handcrafted, yielding a complexity that is entirely its own. Nose: Fresh pine, wild honey, and roasted almonds Palate: Ripe guava, peach, and a whisper of cardamom Finish: Velvety and lingering with warm, herbal depth Solento Raicilla shines in a Raicilla Paloma, where grapefruit and lime brighten its fruit-forward character, or in a simple Agave Sour that lets the cardamom and guava notes take center stage.Best enjoyed neat to fully appreciate its layered aromatics and silky texture. Solento Raicilla is crafted from agave native to the Sierra de Jalisco, a region that has quietly produced some of Mexico's most distinctive and culturally rich spirits.
