Your farrier easily cuts each pad to your horse's shoe size, by cutting around the outside of the horseshoe. The SoleSaver is placed against the frog, your farrier will add a thin exterior leather pad to protect the SoleSaver from harsh stones, ground and environment, and complete by nailing on the shoe, holding both pads in place.
