In June 1964, Grant Green recorded his blazing post-bop session for Solid, an album that would go unreleased until 1979 as Blue Note had success wi th the guitarist's soul jazz outings of the time. The date found the guitarist stretching out in a state-of-the-art sextet with Joe Henderson, James Spaulding, McCoy Tyner, Bob Cranshaw & Elvin Jones.
