Solid Copper rhododendron has vibrant orange blossoms with copper highlights that provide a striking appeal in gardens each spring. This plant is a late bloomer that typically flow ers around May-June depending on growing conditions. However, we have found that it can provide a fall blooming as well. In fact, our bloom photos were taken in September. The lax trusses create an attractive subtlety to its appeal. This showy dwarf cultivar reaches around 3' tall x 3' wide at maturity. It does well in full sun to partial shade and requires well-draining soil. Solid Copper is hardy to 10°F when protected from windchill. Show more
