Apply a thin layer of base coat gel, cure for 60 seconds, then wipe off the tacky layer. Using a cuticle pusher or similar tool, pick up a mung-bean-sized bead of gel at a time. Don't twist or scoop repeatedly — this causes air bubbles. Avoid touching the gel with your fingers; oils and dust reduce its viscosity and grip. Place the bead from the back edge of the nail and press gently towards the tip until it sits evenly. Use a gel brush with nail cleanser to remove any overflow.
