The board is not mass-produced; instead, it is made from about 5.5kg of 27 mm-thick oak and fitted with six low-profile slip-resistant feet, giving an overall height of approximately 3.5 cm. Each board is hand-finished and treated with food-safe oil. Oak is naturally dark and heavily grained, with each board showing its own mix of lighter and darker timber. Knots and grain variation make each board unique, and each board's face is heat-branded and assigned a unique serial number.
