The Solid Table Light by Terence Woodgate is a prime example of the British designer’s refined approach to aesthetic simplicity. Its minimalist form centres on a cylindrical base m ade from solid, fine-polished marble, available in Serpentine, Nero Marquina and Carrara marble.Each base is unique, as the natural hues and veining patterns of marble vary, adding an individualised touch to every piece. A rechargeable battery has been developed to provide light wherever needed without worrying about cables or a power supply close by. The design uses a replaceable quick-fit battery case and a three-stage touch dimmer controls the light output.
