Made with Chamomile extract, which is a centuries-old traditional herb for all kind of ailments, and a touch of the amazingly relaxing Palmarosa essential oil, the Solid Shampoo Conditioning gently cleanses the hair, calms itchiness related to a dry scalp, and provides conditioning benefits for dry, brittle hair. Great as a no-mess, no-fuss, lightweight shampoo for travelling too! Use our Maple Wood Soap Dish to allow your handmade solid shampoo dry between uses and extend its life. Key ingredients: Chamomile Extract Containing active compounds including bisabolol, chamazulene, as well as flavonoids, chamomile helps reduce irritation and itchiness related to dry scalp and dandruff, provides sheen to the hair, and conditions the hair follicles. Cupuaçu Butter Native from the Amazonian forest of Brazil, the cold pressed butter, which is extracted from the seeds of the Cupuaçu tree, contains Phytosterols known to help slow down skin deterioration and promote elasticity and suppleness. Cupuaçu butter is a highly moisturizing emollient, that is known to have the capacity of absorbing four time its weight in water. Adding its impressive composition of various fatty acids (Linoleic, Omega-3, etc), this light butter provides hydration to dry skin and hair, while promoting elasticity. Canadian Apple Cider Vinegar (Organic) Being rich in vitamins and minerals (B, C, K) and alpha-hydroxy acid, the Apple Cider Vinegar proactively conditions and restores the hair’s natural PH after cleansing and promotes a shiny, strong healthy-looking hair. Horsetail (wild crafted) The wild-crafted horsetail was infused in organic apple cider vinegar for several months in order to extract its natural compounds that provide so many benefits for the hair. Rich in natural silica, one of the most abundant minerals on the planet, the horsetail helps improve blood circulation, which in return supports hair growth and promotes thickness and strengths. Scent is from botanicals and/or top grade essential oils (organic whenever possible) How to use: Thoroughly wet hair. Take a step back from the showerhead and gently rub the shampoo bar on your hair or between your hands to create a lather. Spread the foam throughout your hair, massage well and rinse clean. Repeat if needed. If required, apply conditioner. How to store: Keep out of water. Allow the shampoo bar to dry between uses. You can even alternate using two different shampoo bars in order to let it sit and dry longer. To ensure a longer lifetime for your shampoo, store the bar on a slotted soap dish to ensure water drains away more efficiently. When stored properly the shampoo yields 40 to 70 washed, for long respectively short hair. Use a tin/container when travelling.
