sand cast from collected beans from my garden, this lucky bean charm symbolises many things. back in the day when people would walk the beaches in places like Cornell, they would find seed and bean pods, believing these to be magical they would be kept as lucky charms, often the undiscovered pods that had washed up on beaches would begin the grow, the seeds kept firmly safe inside they’re casing, these pods would have travelled hundreds if not thousands of miles to be discovered mysteriously on beaches. collected as talismans, rare, jewellers would be commissioned to create versions in gold and silver for people to wear around their necks symbolising growth, rebirth and positivity. the bean charm became incredibly sort after in the Victorian era, due to their love for sentimental jewellery. this piece is sand cast from last year dried beans in my home studio, polished and turned into your very own lucky talisman. Solid silver Please note - the necklace is not included
