A low-altitude primary-rainforest species; its hinged lip vibrates in the wind and is thought to mimic the female insect pollinator.Grammatophyllum speciosum - Commonly known as the Giant orchid or Tiger orchid or Leopard orchid, it is the world's largest orchid species, characterized by large, yellow flowers with brown or dark red spots, with stems reaching several metres and potentially carrying more than 50 flowers.
