Somatic Movement Practitioner (SMP) Certification is a multidimensional practitioner training designed to teach you how to access, release, and rewire trauma and emotional imprinting stored throughout the body. SMP integrates seven unique modalities that work synergistically across the physical, fascial, emotional, energetic, spiritual, and nervous-system layers of the human experience. Throughout the certification, you’ll learn how to work with somatic memory, physical body mapping, fascial tension and referral patterns, timeline and memory recoding, sound and frequency, cathartic movement, emotional release, and physical pattern repatterning. Some modalities are designed for deep one-on-one client work, while others are intentionally built for group experiences and workshops, giving you multiple ways to serve clients and expand your practice. Your training begins with the foundations of soma, sensory processing, memory encoding, emotional patterning, fascia, the nervous system, and the energetic body, then progresses into increasingly advanced techniques for working with stored trauma and multidimensional healing. SMP also teaches you how to turn the work into a viable practitioner pathway. You’ll learn which group experiences to offer first, how to sequence them to build trust and client momentum, and how to create a natural bridge from workshops into deeper one-on-one services. At graduation, your work is evaluated from both a practitioner and business-building perspective. You’ll demonstrate your ability to facilitate the modality, deliver a compelling front-end and back-end pitch, clearly explain the work, create professional marketing materials, and position your class or private services in a way that makes people want to continue working with you. The certification culminates in real-world practicum experience, competency testing, hands-on training, and practitioner certification, so you leave with more than knowledge—you leave with the ability to facilitate the work, explain it, market it, and begin building a client base around it.
