In 2008, illustrator Joanna Neborsky went semi-undercover to meetings of New York's Darwinists, hypnotists, toy collectors, and Trekkies who had connected on the popular social net working site Meetup.com. Some Assembly Required is her drawn-from-life account of the cityÕs hobbyist fringe thatÕs meeting in diners, rehearsal studios and in one case an elevator lobby outside midtownÕs Source of Life Center.
